Previous incidents
Twitch streaming [21/11/16] - Twitch integration and streaming services recieved a service interuption this morning resulting in video streams and metadata to briefly dissapear from user profiles & erroneous information display within the stream stats and other areas. After investigation the root cause was found and resolved through a code update. The Kablam infrastructure team apologizes to affected users.
Kablam.me [12/5/16] - The kablam.me/(username) redirection service crashed and burned at around 8AM EST this morning (12/5/16) - throwing up a whole host of errors to visitors, and rolling back to an older (good) configuration didn't seem to fix it. We had to write some new scripts and make some alterations to the way the domain works, which fixed the original problem but introduced some SSL certificate trust issues. We fixed and did some manual flushing on the cache at both our CDN and web servers and by 10AM users should no longer be seeing any errors. As a precaution the kablam.net site is using HTTP rather than HTTPS on redirects temporarily. This is safe (from a session POV), however we will start forcing HTTPS traffic again by this evening.
