Yes, you read that right! Morrowind celebrates its 15th anniversary year and will get a place in the Elder Scrolls Online universe. A small teaser was uploaded on the @TESOnline twitter page and then the announcement made live on January 31st, it was fun to watch!

What to expect?

ESO: Morrowind takes place roughly 700 years before the events of The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind and this time our Vestige goes to help Vivec, the legendary warrior-poet and Guardian of Vvandenfell to... guess what? Stop another Daedric threat! You can relive the nostalgia of The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, by traveling between the volcanic Ashlands and the mushroom filled forests, with the construction of Vivec city is still underway at this point in time.

Confession time. I have not played any of The Elder Scrolls series before The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion *ducks in preparation of rotten tomatoes thrown*, but for me, this will be a great chance to explore one of the most well-liked editions to The Elder Scrolls universe, by being able to play in this new environment. I am looking forward to this exciting new feature of the Chapter, to give an increased gameplay for those of us at end game currently.

There will be some familiar new editions to this Chapter such as the new PvP Battlegrounds, a new 12-player trial called The Halls of Fabrication and for me, the most exciting, a new class comes in, with The Warden! The Warden will wield powerful nature-based magic and you get a War Bear as your ultimate, how cool is that!

How and when can I get my hands on this Chapter?

You can head to Vvanderfell on 06.06.17 when ESO: Morrowind is released. Click here for more information on what different editions there are. I really would like to get the Physical Collector Edition, I feel I need that Dwarven Colossus Statue in my life! This Chapter does release soon after my birthday, so I should treat myself!

Final Notes

It must be tiring being a hero in The Elder Scrolls Online, so don't forget Homestead is released on February 6th for PC and Mac players and on consoles February 21st. Think Eats-Many-Cakes and I are going to set up base in Shadowfen. Still trying to save our gold, but being on Xbox One, means I still have some time.

Need something to spruce up you character? check out some new things popping up for the Crown Store in this month February Showcase.
